The CRC for Construction Innovation's 2006 International Conference - Clients Driving Innovation: Moving Ideas into Practice
- built on the success of our 2004 Conference by focussing on more
advanced applications of applied research to improving industry
practice.
The Conference themes reflected
the activities of Construction Innovation’s existing industry research
structure in the core areas of Business and Industry Development,
Environmental Sustainability in the Built Environment, and Procurement
and Facilities Management. Advanced Information and Communication
Technology supports each of these programs. Keynote speakers included:
- Professor Peter Brandon, Director of Strategic Programs, University of Salford (UK);
- Mr Greg Paramor, Managing Director, Mirvac Group (Australia);
- Dr Keith Futcher, Chief Executive Officer, ISS EastPoint Group (Hong Kong);
